Each year, the CURO (Center for Undergraduate Research Opportunities) Research Award provides scholarships to outstanding undergraduate students across campus to participate actively in faculty-mentored research.
My colleagues and I are editing a research topic on "Xenobiotic and Emerging Contaminants in Ecosystems: Innovative Geo-microbial Strategies for Prevention, Efficient Clean-up and Biosafety" in Frontiers in Bioengineering and Biotechnology journal.
Gayatri and Kiana joined our lab this Fall. They will be working on exciting topics. Gayatri will be conducting her graduate research on environmental microbiology with an emphasis on contaminant biotransformation in the environment.
