Great networking at "Progress"- the Precision One Health Initiative Symposium on November 7th! It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with experts from various colleges across campus, emphasizing the power of interdisciplinary work in advancing science. On behalf of the Geomicrobiology Lab at UGA, Gayatri Basapuram (Graduate student) and Grace Stamm (Geology minor) presented on "Microorganisms mediate fate and transport of organic contaminants in the riverine system: Implications for Geohealth." Their dedication contributes to our “One Earth, One Health, One Environment” mission at the Geomicrobiology Lab at UGA and aligns with the UGA's Department of Geology's "Geohealth" mission.
